Today on CraigsList: 1966 Vespa Allstate
Brooklyn Heights. $3300
During the 60s Sears sold the Vespa under it’s Allstate badge and brand. It’s basically a re-badged primavera/Vespa 125 except with a 16mm carb not the standard 19mm. 1966 was the last year of the blue badge and this one looks to be in nice shape.
From the post:
I am selling my beloved Vespa smallframe, 125cc, Sears 1966 Allstate, with original “blue badge”.
Scooter has been in my possession for 11 years, and is in great working order. Was my daily rider in
San Francisco for several years, with no issues outside of basic maintenance.Repainted ivory a few years ago, garaged for winters, seat has been custom re-upholstered. Scooter will be sold along with: original saddle seat (if you wish to change it), brand new heavy weight cover (only a few weeks old), Kryptonite lock/key, and spare tire.
Scooter has a transferable NY registration, license plate, is insured, and has fresh 2009 NYS inspection. Was just tuned up and is ready for spring!
