This weekend is, of course, the NY Scooter Club’s annual Blockparty Scooter Rally. The Big Apple Big One.

This Friday night kicks off the weekend with the Coast of Brooklyn Ride to Coney Island. All scooterists young and old, regardless of make, model, color or creed are as always welcome.

The itinerary is as follows:

5:30 PM: Meetup at Vespa Brooklyn, 215 Park Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11205 (corner of Vanderbilt)
7:00 PM: Ride leaves for Coney Island, by way of DUMBO and Red Hook
9:00 PM: Arrive at Coney Island, ride the Cyclone and the Wonder Wheel, stroll the boardwalk, and eat at Nathans

Mark your calendar and start making your excuses for leaving work early on Friday, Scooter Summer is officially upon us.
