NY Scooter Club’s 4th Annual BlockParty
Another year, another rally. A huge thanks to the folks at NY Scooter Club for making us feel welcome. We didn’t make it out to the Times Square night ride, or Jersey ride on Sunday but had a great time joining up for the Coney Island ride Friday evening and the Flushing Meadows Corona Park ride and Scooter Bottega BBQ on Saturday.
The bad weather on Friday night never arrived leaving a clear run down the Brooklyn coast for the ultimate junk food destination, Nathans Hot-dogs on Surf Avenue.
On Saturday, the organizers arranged with the NYPD to roll the scoots out into the shadow of the Unisphere for some fantastic photo opportunities.
35 or so bikes rode out on Friday and 60 or so on Saturday. Here are some select shots:
Arriving at Coney Island on Friday night.

Leaving Brooklyn for Queens.
