If, like me, you’ve spotted the bright orange buses rolling around the city proclaiming “PA Stories” you might have wondered when the film is coming out and who’s in it.

Taking it’s visual vibe from Indie movies, the marketing campaign turns out to be the brainchild of the folks over at the PA tourist board who, presumably with their Ad agency, have put together a series of video episodes that feature protagonist Peter Arthur (PA geddit?) as he scours Pennsylvania looking for the waitress who served him the best darn slice of shoofly pie as a young man of 12.

Of interest to us at NYC Scootering? Peter’s preferred mode of transport is his orange Stella and sidecar. And true to the scooting lifestyle he’s already had his first break-down in episode 3.

Head on over to pastories.com to watch the episodes and see if Peter tracks down his pie. And yes, that could be a euphemism. Oh, and there’s a chance to win 12 getways to PA.

Personally, we think a scooter run out to Philly’s upcoming July 4th rally “ID IX”, should be the lead prize.
