Scoot the Gay Pride march this weekend
Local LGBT motorcycle club, The Sirens, have organized the two-wheeled lead of this year’s 40th annual Gay Pride march here in New York City.
All scooterists are welcome, whether you’re a member of the New York City gay community or showing your support. So get dressed up, and dress up your scoot.
The motorcycles and scooters gather at 9:00 AM, Sunday, June 28th, at the Market Diner, 572 11th Avenue between 43rd and 44th St, and a $20 registration fee gets you to the front of the march courtesy of a police escort that rolls out at 10.45am to kick-off the march at 12.00 noon. Last year, the pack was over a 100 scooters and motorcycles.
To pre-register, and for more information, visit The Siren’s website.
UPDATE: Additional information can be found at The Siren’s MeetUp page.
