On a recent hot August day, Piaggio Americas President and CEO Paolo Timoni stopped by for a press event at the Tavern on The Green in Central Park, to smile his way through the fact that his company’s scooter sales while having a boom year in 2008 have dropped significantly in the first quarter of 09.

Unfortunately the event was press only.

Advertising Age has a short video of the event here.
