Just gotten your hands on your first two-stroke manual scooter? Congratulations. Need to know what all those shiny (rusty?) bits do?

Thanks to Bob Hedstrom at Scooterville, Minnesota we have answers. Looks like Florida’s top mechanic Maureen has a rival.

Bob has four great YouTube videos that take you through the basics of scooter maintenance using a Genuine Scooter Co. Stella as his test case, but the same procedures apply for a Vespa PX series, Bajaj, LML and more.

Part One covers accessing the engine, spare wheel and battery and general maintenance:
