New Zealand YouTuber Restolad has a short series of excellent how-to videos on dent repair. In each example he uses panels and body parts from a Vespa and Lambretta as demonstration material.

Restolad walks you through the science of the dent and how to gently beat it back into shape. Particularly helpful is his section in the second video on assessing exactly how far the dent has warped the metal in question.
