Over in Italy right now they’re in the midst of the 67th annual EICMA motorcycle exhibition.

Details are thin on the ground right now, but Italian blog Motoblog.it has captured some shots from the exhibition floor of what we hope will be the rebirth of the Lambretta scooter, the Lambretta Pato 125N.

What we do know is that the scooter which adopts the Lambretta name, and more importantly look is being manufactured by Chinese company Pato who currently sell scoots in Europe under the Lambretta badge but not look.

Like the upcoming Le Vita 150 Vespa lookalike, the Pato Lambretta is a plastic body over an Asian scooter chassis but its styling is a nice update on the classic Lambrettas as opposed to the scooters currently being sold in the US under the Lambretta name. It’s not clear at this point whether this new scoot will make it to US shores.

Stay tuned for more details as we get them. In the meantime, head on over to Motoblog.it for more photos.
