Today on CraigsList: 1971 Bajaj Priya
$3000. Carrol Gardens.
Judging by the photos and the enthusiastic posting, this scoot looks to be well cared for and is a nice opportunity to get your hands on an Indian born Vespa clone that you won’t see around the US too often, with the added benefit of a modern LML (Stella) engine to keep you roadworthy.
From the original post:
Original brown leather seats; full size front glove box; rear wheel-well storage compartment; fork-lock and 2 full sets of keys.
A brand new 150cc Stella engine installed less than 3 years ago. 3 new whitewall tires & 3 new gunmetal grey rims added 2 years ago. Installed recently: a brand new speedo cable, fuel filter and a new left mirror bracket, (if you would like to add a mirror).
Included with this bike - I’m throwing in: a new fitted cover just purchased from the Vespa Soho store, as well as a DOT certified half-helmet with visor (pictured, fits most med to large sizes).
This bike has been carefully pampered, runs amazing; has extremely fast pick-up and will not leave you stranded! — Ready to crank on the first try! All she needs is a rider.
Head on over to CraigsList for the post.
