4-stroke Stella stays at 2-stroke prices
The big news from the floor of the Indianapolis Dealer Expo is that the upcoming 4-stroke version of Genuine Scooter Company’s popular Stella will remain at $3,599. That’s the same as the 2-stroke 2009 version.
The new Stella will be available in new color schemes of Creme, Slate Blue and Dijon Yellow in addition to the existing options of Red, Avocado and White currently used on the 2-stroke models.
The new scoot comes with a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty. We’re still awaiting details on dealer ship dates, but you can guarantee it will be sometime in the Spring in readiness for this year’s riding season. Dealers will continue to sell 2009′s remaining 2-strokes until inventory ends. After that, Genuine Scooters will ship the 4-stroke version only.
Since the loss of Brooklynbretta, NYC riders should look to Brooklyn Harley Davidson for their local Genuine Scooters needs.

It’s time to save up. Thank you for the news.
I hope the 2-stroke can be available for certain markets for the years to come.
No official word from Genuine yet, but rumor has it that the company will continue to sell current stock of remaining 2-stroke Stellas, and then will investigate if there is still a market for them at that point.
