Today on Craigslist: Three classic scoots
Oh boy, what a day for finds on CraigsList today. If that tax rebate is burning a hole in your pocket, we may have just found three beautiful excuses to let it burn through:
1963 Vespa 150 GL
Completely professional restored and only ridden twice since the rebuild. Comes with all the original paperwork from Pisa, Italy and photographic documentation of the entire restoration. i.e. this is no Asian bodge-job.
$5999. Montvale, NJ. Click here for more details from the original post.
1959 Agrati-Garelli Super Capri
One of only 200 imported into the United States, this Italian scooter is a true rarity. Currently not running with some surface rust, but it has a history of riding well in recent years. This is definitely a scoot for someone who knows what they have on their hands, and how to get it running again.
$1700. Bushwick, Brooklyn. Click here for the back-story on the scoot, and more photos.
1966 Vespa Sprint
Silver, with some surface rust but nothing major. The owner claims the bike starts right up and runs without issue. Currently in storage in Bronxville, but the seller is in Manhattan and can negotiate a visit.
$1800. Click here for the original listing.
