With just 680 miles on the clock and a couple of Big Apple required dings and scrapes, it’s the NYC equivalent of buying a nice comfortable broken-in pair of pre-worn Levis.

According to the poster, it is suffering some rust damage, but only superficially. All in all though, it looks like a very nice scoot. Let us know if you’re lucky enough to get to see it in person. Also of note is that it’s of Brazilian origin.

During the 60s Sears sold the Vespa under it’s Allstate badge and brand. It’s basically a re-badged primavera/Vespa 125 except with a 16mm carb not the standard 19mm. 1966 was the last year of the blue badge and this one looks to be in nice shape.

2005 makes it one of the first shipments of Stellas before they made improvements to the breaks and powder-coating, but it’s an opportunity to save some dough.

I ran into this beauty myself over at Brooklynbretta at the weekend. The picture does not do it justice so email the seller for more snaps. At $5K you could wheel a brand new 2009 out of the showroom, but hey, a brand new Vespa isn’t a loving restored ’61.
