The big news from the floor of the Indianapolis Dealer Expo is that the upcoming 4-stroke version of Genuine Scooter Company’s popular Stella will remain at $3,599. That’s the same as the 2-stroke 2009 version.

The lucky Scottish scooterists over at Vivo Scooterists in Edinburgh recently got to try out the LML Star 4, the European incarnation of the Indian Vespa Clone, soon to be re-badged here in the USA as the 4-stroke Stella by Chicago’s Genuine Scooter Company.

The headline says it all. A very tidy looking white Stella up for grabs with less than 4K on the clock at a nice round $2,000. The seller is leaving the country so their loss could be your gain.

A seller in Fresh Meadows, Queens has a serviceable black 2005 Stella up for grabs with just 1130 miles on the clock. It has some electrical gremlins but sounds like it just needs either a new battery or five minutes of a trained eye.

Judging by the photos and the enthusiastic posting, this scoot looks to be well cared for and is a nice opportunity to get your hands on an Indian born Vespa clone that you won’t see around the US too often, with the added benefit of a modern LML (Stella) engine to keep you roadworthy.

The scoot has quite the dent in the front fender so you may want to get to the bottom of what happened and make sure the rest of the front-end is in good shape. But…
