Per my previous post, the thing I want to tackle immediately is the rust. It’s only surface rust right now and I’d like to keep it that way. The foot-board in particular looks like it doesn’t want to live through another winter.

Finally, some photos of my new purchase. Time for the once over to figure out where and how to start slowly bringing this one back to it’s former 1985 glory.

Just got back from the DMW with plate and registration in hand for the PX150e. Took more hassle than I thought. This was a second visit after a failed first attempt last week when I was promptly pushed out of the DMV for now knowing the dry-weight of an ’85 Vespa off the top of my head

Well the bug has bitten for sure. This week I became the proud new owner of a 1985 Vespa PX150e thanks to seller, Cory through CraigsList. This little beast is going to be my tinkering project for Winter ’09 while the S150 remains my daily runner.
